    • Size: minimum 5 MB

Abstract Submission

The AOCNR 2025 Organizing Committee cordially invites researchers, clinicians, and professionals to submit abstracts for presentation at the congress.
All abstracts must be submitted online via the "Abstract Submission" portal at https://aocnr2025.com/. Submissions will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee. Accepted abstracts will be selected for either:

  1. Oral Presentation, or
  2. Poster Presentation

Accepted abstracts will be published in the official Congress Proceedings Book.
Each author may submit up to two (2) abstracts. The number of abstracts accepted will be determined based on scientific quality and availability within the conference program.

Abstract Format

  • Tittle: Max 30 word
  • Body: Max 300 words
  • Abstracts must present original material that has not been previously published or presented.
  • Submissions may include original research or case reports for these following themes/ subtopics:

    • Spinal Cord Injury & Traumatic Brain Injury
    • Pediatric Neurorehabilitation
    • Geriatric Neurorehabilitation
    • Innovation, Technology & Neuroplasticity
    • Neuromusculoskeletal Rehab & Pain Management
    • Multidisciplinary & Psychosocial Aspects
    • Public Health Approaches in Neurorehabilitation
    • Basic & Translational Research in Neurorehabilitation
    • Neurorehabilitation Based on Cardiorespiratory Dysfunction
    • Spasticity Management and Prevention of Joint Contractures
    • Neuroplasticity and Its Influence on Musculoskeletal Alignment and Function
    • Others
  • All abstracts must be submitted online via the AOCNR 2025 website. Submissions by email, fax, or post will not be accepted.
  • Abstracts must be written in clear English.
  • The submission process will be conducted in two phases.
    • The first term will conclude on Monday, 30 June 2025 at 23:59 (Indonesia Standard Time)
    • The second and final deadline on Tuesday, 31 July 2025 (Indonesia Standard Time)
    • Submissions received within each phase will be directly forwarded to the panel of judges for review.
  • Late-breaking abstracts submitted after the final deadline will not be accepted.
  • The abstract must be objective and concise, and include the following five sections: Background, Aim, Methods, Results, Conclusions
  • Authors are responsible for ensuring their abstracts are free of grammatical or typographical errors. The abstract will be reproduced exactly as submitted.
  • Graphics, tables, and references are not permitted in the abstract.
  • Authors may indicate their preferred presentation type (oral or poster); however, the Scientific Committee reserves the right to make the final decision.
  • A confirmation email will be sent automatically upon successful submission. Please ensure that your contact information is accurate and check your spam/junk folder if you do not receive it.
  • By submitting an abstract, authors grant AOCNR 2025 the right to publish their work.
  • All presenting authors must complete regular registration for the conference by August 31 (Sunday), 2025. Failure to register by this date will result in automatic withdrawal of the abstract.

Abstract Structure

An acceptable abstract must include the following structured components:

BackgroundA statement of the hypothesis or research question.
AimThe main objective or purpose of the study.
MethodsAn explanation of the study design and experimental methods used.
ResultsA concise summary of the major findings of the experiment or study. Sufficient data must be provided to permit evaluation by the reviewers and public reading of the abstract. Statements such as “the data will be discussed” are not acceptable.
ConclusionsSummary of the overall findings and the importance of the study.

Additional required information:

  • Author's contact details: Email address of the corresponding (submitting) author
  • Names of all authors: First and family names (e.g., John Line)
  • Affiliation of all authors: Department, Institution/Hospital, City, and Country (with superscript numbers as needed)
  • The abstract must be uploaded in WORD format at the time of online submission to ensure accurate formatting and readability.

Notification of Acceptance

  • All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee.
  • Notification of acceptance will be sent via email by July 25 (Monday), 2025.

Withdrawal of Abstracts

  • Abstracts whose presenting authors have not registered by August 31 (Sunday), 2025 will be automatically withdrawn from the final program.
  • If you wish to withdraw an abstract, please notify the AOCNR 2025 Secretariat in writing at research@aocnr2025.com as soon as possible.

Publication

All accepted abstracts will be published in an ISBN-registered proceeding book. Additionally, participants who are interested will be given the opportunity to submit their full papers to one of the following journals:
